ADAPTIVE NOISE SUPPRESSION IN VOICE COMMUNICATION USING ASSNFIS SYSTEM
The paper proposed the adaptive noise suppression technique for suppression of noise in voice communication. There are different techniques earlier used for adaptive filteration like least mean square, kalman’s filter etc.In the paper we used “fuzzy logic” technique for adaptive filteration. We know about the theory of adptive filteration of noise and application of fuzzy logic. We are using the fuzzy logic functions anfis and genfis1 by matlab for simulation. Anfis is the adaptive neuro-fuzzy training of sugeno-type fuzzy inference systems. In this paper we uses anfis system to suppress different types of noise from voice signal
Design and Analysis of 4x4 Vedic Multiplier using Carry Save and Vertical Adder
In digital signal processing multiplication is one of the key operations between two sequences. Multiplication is used in convolution of two signals used especially for filter design operation. So it is necessary that multiplication should be performed efficiently with less area and delay. Vedic mathematics is one of the method by which we can reduced area and delay. In this paper we have design 4x4 Vedic multiplier by using the concept of Vedic mathematics; we have used Urdhva Tiryagbhyam which is one of the 16 sutras which are used in Vedic mathematics. We have design Vedic multipliers using vertical adder and carry save adder in Xilinx 14.7 software using VHDL and stimulation result are obtain and there area and delay are computed
Software Test Case Generation Tools and Techniques: A Review
Software Industry is evolving at a very fast pace since last two decades. Many software developments, testing and test case generation approaches have evolved in last two decades to deliver quality products and services. Testing plays a vital role to ensure the quality and reliability of software products. In this paper authors attempted to conduct a systematic study of testing tools and techniques. Six most popular e-resources called IEEE, Springer, Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), Elsevier, Wiley and Google Scholar to download 738 manuscripts out of which 125 were selected to conduct the study. Out of 125 manuscripts selected, a good number approx. 79% are from reputed journals and around 21% are from good conference of repute. Testing tools discussed in this paper have broadly been divided into five different categories: open source, academic and research, commercial, academic and open source, and commercial & open source. The paper also discusses several benchmarked datasets viz. Evosuite 10, SF100 Corpus, Defects4J repository, Neo4j, JSON, Mocha JS, and Node JS to name a few. Aim of this paper is to make the researchers aware of the various test case generation tools and techniques introduced in the last 11 years with their salient features
Impacted Canine: Diagnosis and Prevention
Since impacted canines are encountered often, with an incidence rate of 1 to 2% in the general population, it is important for a dentist to identify the signs and symptoms of this condition and follow interceptive treatment or orthodontic treatment. Features of buccal or palatal canine impaction show lack of canine bulges in the buccal sulcus and asymmetry in dental midlines. Diagnosis of impacted canines at an early age of 8 to 10 years can reduce further complications, such as surgical exposure or root resorption of the lateral incisors, and will reduce the total duration of the treatment. The interceptive orthodontic treatment procedure with extraction of the primary maxillary cuspids can prevent impaction of the permanent maxillary cuspids and additional sequelae

Knitting Together Communities - Designing the Heart of Six Corners and Old Hill
Knitting together Communities -Designing the Heart of Six Corners and Old Hill
Knitting Together Communities – Designing the Heart of Six Corners and Old Hill provides a framework to knit together assets and opportunities for creating a strong identity and sense of coherence for a transformative urban district in Springfield, MA. The Senior Urban Design Studio 2019 created six proposals that were searching for design opportunities that enhance the aesthetic quality of the neighborhood and increase services for the wellbeing of the residents. The two neighborhoods are characterized by strong neighborhood leadership through committed residents, community centers and active religious organizations, and a lively culture of urban agriculture (GTC) that keeps growing and fosters a positive spirit in the community. The studio analyzed the assets of the district, engaged with residents through site visits, personal interviews with community leaders and groups, and a neighborhood engagement workshop.
Design Objectives The design program was developed through the engagement with stakeholders, area observations and classical analysis of the area:
• More entrances, accessibility and programming for active and passive recreation for the centrally located Ruth Elizabeth Park
• Gerrish Park near roundabout needs to be more usable for markets and events
• Historic Mill River and Watershops Pond should be connected to the larger green network; Harriet Tubman Park needs to be connected to the water’s edge.
• Public art on exterior walls through education at schools and local artists
• Synergies between Springfield College neighborhood to create new student housing and provide amenities that integrate this population for mutual benefits
• Complete streets through extensive street tree plantings, widening of sidewalks and bicycle lanes
• Stormwater management strategies: bioswales along streets, green roofs, infiltration areas in new parks, porous pavement.
• Multiple housing opportunities: vacant small lots for infill, mix housing with retail and commercial on upper floors of new buildings, adaptive reuse of historic buildings as live-work spaces
• Neighborhood amenities like a grocery store and pharmacy
• Spaces for a cultural and commercial hub including all-year activities outsid
14 Examples of How LLMs Can Transform Materials Science and Chemistry: A Reflection on a Large Language Model Hackathon
Chemistry and materials science are complex. Recently, there have been great
successes in addressing this complexity using data-driven or computational
techniques. Yet, the necessity of input structured in very specific forms and
the fact that there is an ever-growing number of tools creates usability and
accessibility challenges. Coupled with the reality that much data in these
disciplines is unstructured, the effectiveness of these tools is limited.
Motivated by recent works that indicated that large language models (LLMs)
might help address some of these issues, we organized a hackathon event on the
applications of LLMs in chemistry, materials science, and beyond. This article
chronicles the projects built as part of this hackathon. Participants employed
LLMs for various applications, including predicting properties of molecules and
materials, designing novel interfaces for tools, extracting knowledge from
unstructured data, and developing new educational applications.
The diverse topics and the fact that working prototypes could be generated in
less than two days highlight that LLMs will profoundly impact the future of our
fields. The rich collection of ideas and projects also indicates that the
applications of LLMs are not limited to materials science and chemistry but
offer potential benefits to a wide range of scientific disciplines
Microscopic study of age-related changes in germinal centre in the human appendix by using immunohistochemistry technique
Background: This study was conducted to observe the age-related changes in germinal centre in human appendix Subject and Methods: The study was conducted on 50 male and female appendix. All the specimens were preserved in 10% formalin solution, after paraffin processing sections were routinely stained with mouse antihuman CD 35 antibody using polymer HRP detection system using IHC technique. Results: The maximum number of lymph nodes and germinal centres found in group A (0-20yrs) and minimum found in Age group C (40-60yrs). Conclusion: Appendix play an important role in immune system
Thermoacoustic Refrigerator for High Temperature Gradient
Leakage of HFCs, thermal shocks to sensitive devices, moving mechanical components which in turn require more maintenance, are some of the cons of a conventional vapor compression system .The newest field in refrigeration overcoming such flaws is Thermoacoustic refrigerator (TAR), where the sound energy is used to generate a temperature difference which can be used for refrigeration. TAR are environment friendly, do not use any kind of refrigerants, and as the compressor and expander are not used, hence, its life is more than a conventional VCR. The objective is to obtain a substantial temperature gradient using a Thermoacoustic Refrigerator. The methodology is to choose the suitable material and design the prototype. A large part of this project is devoted to explore the different designs for thermo acoustic refrigerators, and select the optimum one for maximum utility. With the present system, it was possible to achieve a temperature difference across the stack of 14 K
